Jim Johnstone

Deputy Chair Manchester

Jim has worked in Franchising for over 20 years in some large and successful global brands across the Hospitality, QSR and Retail sectors.

Prior to joining Accentia, Jim worked for Dominos Pizza Group PLC where he held the positions of Head of Franchise Operations and Head of Business Development. In these roles, Jim worked with Franchisees on new store openings, business planning and operational capability.

Previously, Jim ran the UK business for Dunkin’ Brands and launched Dunkin’ Donuts across the country as well as significantly the presence of Baskin Robbins. Both Brands were 100% Franchised and Jim recruited many Franchisees during his 5 years with Dunkin’. Before this, Jim held similar national roles in Burger King where he recruited and worked with Franchisees on developing their business and store operations.

Jim’s early career was in the retail and Pub sectors where he held positions from Store Manager to Regional Director. This experience, combined with Franchising gives Jim the ability to work with Franchisors on developing their business and recruit Franchisees who will operate brands successfully.

Jim has two daughters, lives in North Staffordshire and is a keen cyclist but likes going to the pub at the end of a long ride!
