Rachel Fay

Regional Chair Newcastle

Rachel Fay is a qualified early years teacher who developed her business, Little Learners, to help children start school with more confident motor skills and mark-making abilities. She was on maternity leave from the classroom when she developed an innovative mark making programme (early writing) that she incorporated into a messy play class format.

Having successfully trialled the classes locally, she realised the potential and worked on a franchise package with the hope of spreading the availability of Little Learners classes and providing an offer to potential franchisees to build a thriving business in their local area that they could fit around their family lives.

Little Learners now has over 30 fantastic franchisees running successful businesses all around the UK – and is still growing! Their supportive family of franchisees welcomed two very special newcomers recently who are currently selling out classes in Melbourne and Perth, Australia!

Rachel and Little Learners have won multiple awards over the years such as New Woman Franchisor of the Year by EWIF, 5 Star Franchisee Satisfaction by WorkBuzz and Little Learners was ranked number 37 in the Elite Franchise Top 100 UK Franchises 2019.

Although it has been a hectic time of rapid growth for her franchise, Rachel’s not complacent and remains committed to the continued success of all Little Learners franchisees who are helping so many children gain their mark-making confidence!

She is delighted to become Regional Chair with the AFA as she is really passionate about supporting others on their franchise journeys.
