The Approved Franchise Association November Update

Growing rapidly and offering great benefits …

The Approved Franchise Association is going from strength to strength in 2016 so I thought I’d update you with what’s been going on with the AFA over the last few months …

We’ve been steadily increasing our membership of franchisors which has been helped by our fantastic partnership with Franchise UK, offering our franchisor members the opportunity for free advertising.

Our members can have a bronze package on the Franchise UK website entirely free. This package is worth £1,200 per year and as our membership is only £585 + VAT that’s a deal you can’t refuse!

We don’t let anyone join the AFA though. Franchisors wishing to become a member must be able to demonstrate that their organisation meets the fundamental requirements of any successful franchise. They must be able to show that their business is sustainable, viable, transferable and, above all, ethical.

We’ve been growing the partnership side of the Approved Franchise Association too, we are looking for companies who would like to work with and promote their services to the franchise industry. We are very choosy about who comes on board with us and they do have to prove an understanding of the franchise industry and have worked in the franchise sector in the past. We also ask for references and testimonials which we follow up.

“What does the AFA offer its members?”

Alongside the free advertising, the most important part to us is the accreditation. Members can use our Seal of Approval on their marketing material giving potential franchisees peace of mind that they are dealing with a trustworthy franchise.

We also blog each week with a professional company and encourage our members and partners to guest blog on our site. We love to hear good news stories, about new franchisees coming on board and any special offers.

“We’re also very active on social media, sharing members’ tweets and Facebook statuses!”
